Personal Best

You can’t run a personal best every time, and trying to do so will make it less likely that you’ll improve by much at all.

Regardless, there will come a day when your personal best recedes into the distance – a day that comes all the sooner if your PB is a good one.

So will you give up?

Better instead to realise that you will post a best time for each week and for every month, for as long as you keep on running.

Stay healthy. Remember why you love it. Keep going.
