You’re going to need people with a combination of qualities:
- Commitment to the vision;
- Energy and drive;
- The specific technical skills needed by your org;
- Social skills;
- Flexibility in moving between multiple roles as a small team tries to cover all its bases and work out which structures will work in the long term;
- Willingness to work for nothing, or for whatever you can afford to pay them at your organisation’s stage of development.
