What made this meme take off?
The first video is great – a good voice, good song, and the black and white adds something extra too. Nathan Evans went first.
But very nearly as important is the person who went next (Luke Taylor), adding excellent bass and turning it into a collaborative thing – another key state change. He went first too.
Then Aaron Sloan, Bobby Waters, Jonny Stewart and others piled in and it blew up.
Two vital changes of state: from nothing to something, and from individual effort to collaboration.
