Agreeableness revisited

If you work for a non-profit or social enterprise – or in another kind of service, for that matter – chances are you’re on the agreeable side.

This is good. This is why you do what you do.

But chances are also that you’re a little too agreeable to push yourself and your team as hard as you should to get things done, and get them done well.

Being 10% less agreeable might be uncomfortable, but it it will probably return more than a 20% improvement in Getting Stuff Done… and you’ll still be a very nice person.

Ask tougher questions. Expect more.
